Dr Bridget Martinez, MD PhD, CEO
Dr Martinez is a triple doctor! She is a residency trained, board certified physician, currently holds appointments as a rural hospital doctor and urgent care. Aside from being a full time medical doctor, she also is a passionate scientist that holds two PhDs and completed training as a prestigious post doctoral fellow at a national laboratory.
Dr Bridget Martinez is a Medical Doctor as well as a Scientist. Bridget has obtained a MD as well as a PhD in the field of Quantitative and Systems Biology and Comparative Physiology with an emphasis in Endocrinology. Dr Martinez is an extensively published author with results from her studies having impactful biomedical implications, to date she has published over 70 and 5 books peer-reviewed publications! In addition, she has published and edited 4 medical books which strive to provide comprehensive scientific knowledge in various biomedical fields in publishing groups such as Springer Nature and the Royal Society of Chemistry, as editor, author, and artist, with her art pieces featured on the cover of Springer Nature. Her most current book identifies prognostic biomarkers for disease, as well as evaluates translational value from clinical trials. Alongside her research on Parkinson’s Disease, as a physician, Dr Martinez strives to bridge the gap between the advancement of scientific knowledge and improve therapeutic strategies for patients.
Fun fact: Her academic and research training includes extended experiences in Italy, Egypt, South Korea, Mexico, New Zealand and Japan and she currently speaks 7 languages. Her second PhD and third doctoral degree explores the physiological driving force behind the high incidence of Rh negative blood in the Basque population.
David Pringle, CPA
Chief Financial Advisor
David A Pringle is a licensed CPA, with over 30 years’ experience. He received his accounting degree from the University of Nevada, Reno in 1989. He is an integral member of Mimir’s Well-ness and currently serves are as our CFO.
Tony Le, Director of Product Design and Development
Tony has over 15 years of experience in the medical device industry, creating innovative device designs for both large corporations and startup companies. He has worked on Class 3 devices for various neurovascular and cardiovascular applications. Tony’s expertise is in early stage R&D, product design, competitive analysis, and IP generation. His hands-on approach prioritizes rapid design-build-test cycles while always keeping patient safety and risk management top of mind. Since 2021, Tony has run his own design business, partnering with early stage medical device startups to bring new devices to market.
Jeff Pielemeier, Director of Quality and Regulatory Measures
Jeff Pielemeier has worked in the Quality and Regulatory arena in various medical devices for 20 years. His experience includes quality and regulatory management for numerous device startups, marketing Class IIa respiratory and intravascular catheter products for U.S., European and worldwide markets. He has been instrumental in achieving 510(k) clearance for three Class II product lines and CE Mark for two Class IIa product lines.
Jeffrey Sheldon, JD Intellectual Property and Licensing Agreement Director
Jeffrey Sheldon has been litigating patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets and prosecuting patent applications, trademarks, and copyrights since 1975. He has been adjunct professor in intellectual property law and patent law at Southwestern University Law School and advanced patent law at Loyola University, both in Los Angeles, and is a member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association. Mr. Sheldon was chairman of the Los Angeles Intellectual Property Law Association. Also, he was chairman of the Intellectual Property Law section of the State Bar of California
Mr. Sheldon is a frequent author, including the treatise “How to Write a Patent Application” and the “Manager’s Guide to Intellectual Property” (both available at Amazon.com). He was identified by California Lawyer magazine as one of the top patent lawyers in the state of California. Mr. Sheldon has been responsible for the training of many patent practitioners and has been requested by many in-house patent counsel to prepare and prosecute their more challenging patent applications.
He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the Carnegie Institute of Technology, and a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, Scotland. His studies in Scotland resulted from receiving the Marshall Scholarship from the United Kingdom government. He received his JD in 1975.
